Content Marketing For Resort Rentals

You’ve heard about Content Marketing, but not sure what it is or what the big deal is? It’s just words, right?

Content Marketing is more than just words, it serves many purposes such as SEO (Search Engine Optimization), copywriting, etc. Now you may be asking yourself why I refer to Content Marketing as an adventure. Simple – it is! You have to constantly discover new content that is worthy of sharing. You are the authority in your industry – share it, but share it wisely.

Where Do We Get Our Content

Many of our clients have vast knowledge that is just stored in their heads. It’s our job as marketers to get that knowledge out of their brilliant minds and into useful content, such as guides, blogs, “how-to” tools, and social media, and to incorporate it into their website… just to name a few platforms of where we use this helpful content.

Now you see why content marketing is an adventure and important to your marketing strategy.

Here are some examples of how we use Content Marketing for Captevrix:

As you can see, Content Marketing is considered a necessity in today’s marketing world. The days of throwing up a website, creating a cute brochure, and hoping for the best are long gone. Today’s marketing is so much more, and that’s what makes it a true adventure. An adventure is exciting, eventful, and full of surprises. You would be amazed at the changes we experience just with this type of marketing alone. Even as I write this post, I notice how I used to write a post three years ago is different than how I write it today.

How To Use Content Marketing for Your Resort

Create guides that give information about your resort and what one could expect when they stay with you for their next vacation or special occasion. Describe your resort and add pictures so the reader feels as if they are already there. Make your reader or guest familiar with your resort so when they visit they are familiar with the area. Making your blog posts about things to do while visiting your resort can help ‘sell’ your resort properties. People who go on vacation want to go go go, so give them ideas of your favorite things to do in the area. Post on social media about events that are coming up such as concerts and festivals that include music, food, and drinks.

Expand Your Content for Your Resort

Your content should not just be displayed on blogs and social media. Use that helpful information in monthly enewsletters, SMS messages, and add video content when you can. The platforms for content are endless.

Start Adding Content Marketing To Your Resorts Marketing Plan Today

Just by adding some of these marketing tools to your website in different forms will keep viewers coming back to revisit and possibly attract new viewers as your website is being shared with groups of friends around the country and maybe the world.

Now, take all that knowledge that you have stored in your “brain files” and create great content that can get your resort noticed and turn it into revenue. Remember, it’s not just words, it’s an adventure!
